WP1 – STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT

LEAD PROJECT PARTNER – UNIVERSITY COLLEGE LONDON – UCL

The objective of Work Package is:

a) To hold 5 Workshops aimed at i) advocating the use of the LERU Research Data Roadmap and ii) Collecting case studies and best practice for the new LERU Toolkit to support the implementation of the Roadmap.

WP2 – DISSEMINATION

LEAD PROJECT PARTNER – STICHTING LIBER – LIBER

The objectives of this Work Package are:

a) To ensure that LEARN’s results are disseminated to the appropriate audience through appropriate communications channels, in order to maximise the project’s impact.
b) To draw attention of regulators at national and EU levels, SMEs and corporates to help move the project results out into the marketplace.

WP3 – POLICY DEVELOPMENT AND ALIGNMENT

LEAD PROJECT PARTNER – UNIVERSITAT WIEN – UNIVIE

The objective of this Work Package is:

a) To identify the needs of key funders in the area of RDM for access to and curation of research data, which is produced as a result of their funding. In the area of open access to publications, funders have been instrumental in establishing requirements for open access to research publications, which have themselves shaped university and national policies.

WP4 – ASSESSMENT OF IMPACT

LEAD PROJECT PARTNER – UNIVERSITAT DE BARCELONA – UB

The objectives of this Workpackage are:

a) To establish Key Performance Indicators against the recommendations in the LERU Research Data Roadmap and against advocated Actions in the new LERU Toolkit which will enable those institutions using these documents to measure success in their implementations
b) To disseminate and analyse an online Questionnaire internationally asking universities and research institutions which recommendations they could implement from the Roadmap and Toolkit, based on an Executive Briefing.

WP5 – PROJECT MANAGEMENT

LEAD PROJECT PARTNER – UNIVERSITY COLLEGE LONDON – UCL

The objectives of this Workpackage are:

a) To ensure the efficient and effective management of the LEARN project through the implementation of the Project’s governance and decision-making structures;
b) To ensure effective communications both internal (within the consortium) and external (liaison with the European Commission and third parties);
c) To monitor and report on the project’s progress and identify any aspects requiring attention to the appropriate bodies;
d) To ensure that the work and tasks are completed on time, within budget and according to high quality standards;
e) To monitor progress between planned and actual activities, identify any aspects requiring attention to ensure goals are achieved within the stated timeframe;
f) To ensure that the contractual, project management and financial aspects of LEARN are carried out in an efficient, transparent and correct manner and in accordance with European Commission rules;
g) To provide effective linkage and communication between the European Commission, partners and other interested parties;
h) To ensure that gender equality matters are adequately addressed.
